Hallway Refurbishment, Case Study

Project Description

We were recommended to our clients from a friend, our brief was to design and refurbish a new entrance area and hallway. Our client’s main concerns were the limited natural light penetration. Once on site we produced a couple of options to produce a more inviting and increased sense of arrival. We decided to remove the WC Cloak area as it was not required and blocked a large amount of the light entering the hall space, with the WC Cloak removed we decided to open up the front entrance door and install a full width entrance area with feature bevelled glass, we then began the interior refurbishment works that included Plastering, Feature Coving Installation, new lighting layout to maximise the space and provide feature focal points, installed new oak pre-finished doors and hardware, installed a bespoke oak kitchen door with matching feature bevelled glazing to tie into the new front entrance door, installed polished limestone flooring, new skirting boards and architraves and fully redecorated to produce a fantastic new elegant entrance hallway exactly to our clients requirements. On completing the hallway refurbishment we were then asked to install new fascia, soffits and guttering for the entire bungalow.
