Loft Conversion - Case Study

Project Description

Mill Park Commercial instructed us to create a unique mezzanine loft area with their new business premises. The design was to create a floating floor that was not connected to the exterior walls due to the existing large full height windows. We worked closely with the design team and structural engineers to produce a portal frame design that met the client’s requirements.

Particular emphasis was placed on construction connection details to make sure the junctions of the framework remained clean and contemporary, but still maintained the overall industrial concept. The steel portal frame and use of the warm roof timber construction really complement the overall finish of this loft mezzanine floor.
