Multiple Extension - Case Study

Project Description

This multiple extension project took 22 weeks to complete and included the removal of existing conservatory and detached garage. The project included a new single storey rear extension with vaulted ceilings and 3 Velux skylights. The two storey side extension was a little unusual because our customers needed to maintain an access strip down the side of the house. The architects designed the first floor to cantilever over the ground floor to allow the access and also maintain the maximum space in the new master bedroom with ensuite. On the ground floor we installed a new utility room, study and downstairs shower room. We removed the rear ground floor external walls to create a large open plan modern kitchen living space.

Demolition, below ground drainage, foundation ground works and civil engineering, structural installations, cavity wall construction, joinery works, tiling, plastering, electrical installations, plumbing and heating and window installation.
